I know, I know.. odd title. Lol. But did it capture your attention? Probably. Because food catches everyone’s attention... but sorry to break it to you. This story has nothing to do with food. Just L O V E !
so, I met my awesome husband there. But it wasn’t all cute, and romantic.. it was kind of creepy to be quite honest!
So maybe about 3 months before we started dating I get this random message from this guy that I’ve onky talked to about once or twice during work, asking me to go out with him & some coworkers. my first thought was, “Okaaaaaay? how did he get my number?” So I asked. And he said so casually like it wasn’t weird or anything, “um, from the office wall?” Like if that’s completely normal! LOL. I didn’t respond for a while. I was pretty creeped out if I’m being honest. Fast forward a few weeks, he asked me out on a date. YES, LIKE AN ACTUAL DATE!

(This photo isn’t from out first date, but a month after we got married, he took me back to where we had our first date! Cute right?)
okay! So back to My Habit no food involved love story! We went on our first date... then didnt talk for a month or so. Then fast forward a few more weeks or so, he surprised me with a trip to the Aquarium. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place ever!
i remember right when we started getting serious, I straight up told him, “if you don’t plan on marrying me, don’t start this relationship with me. If you plan on marrying me, let me know!” Without hesitation, he said. “Oh yeah. I wanna marry you.”
yes, I was in as much shock as you reading this right now. But at that point in my life, I didn’t need another heart break. I actually didn’t even want another boyfriend for that matter. I was in the beautiful process of starting to love myself again. I was starting to enjoy my single life. So any boy that wanted to get involved further than just being my friend, I said BYE! I couldn’t afford another heartbreak. I’ve only had one other real relationship that lasted a little over a year and a half and it was a toxic one. (That’s a story for another time!)
so finally finding a NICE and GENUINE guy was a shock. I honestly thought it was way too good to be true. But fast forward 8 months, he proposed. ANd about a year later, we got married! We just celebrated our one year anniversary actually!

I hope you guys enjoyed this read! And if you guys have questions, or just wanna get to know me better, email me or just follow this amazing journey!
Until next time!!
